dos palillos gastronomy is a creative cuisine, based on Asian gastronomy; mainly from Japan, China and Southeast Asia.

the way to express our cuisine is through the tasting menu, 200% recommended; but if you prefer to enjoy à la carte, you can do so at the Sake Bar.

Orientals use them as tongs to pick up small portions of food; here, in the bars the toothpick is the king of “tapas” different in shape but similar in use; they symbolize the itinerary between the dish and the mouth; two pure, basic wooden utensils, minimal in design, primitive and modern at the same time.

the asian bar

a Japanese-style bar, in front of the kitchen – almost inside – served by the chefs themselves, creating an interesting and fun interactivity between the customer and the kitchen. an exclusive bar of 20 spaces only.

private lounge

Our only table inside the restaurant. It’s designed for groups, although it could serve as a table to share; it has a capacity for 8-10 people in an intimate and cozy space.

terrace

Our terrace is an outdoor space –conditioned in winter– very pleasant and ideal for those who want to enjoy a magnificent evening outdoors.

At the beginning of the 21st century, the elBulli team made several trips to Japan, causing the birth of a cultural dialogue between Japan and Europe, a dialogue with the most sensitive and delicate cuisine in the world that would be enriched over the years.
dos palillos is the result of that dialogue and this is his book.
